I just don't understand why people even choose to play control but then totally ignore capturing zones!? There's a game type for that, it's called clash.
It's seriously not that complicated. Don't want to worry about zones, fine, clash is your answer. I'm at the point now where if I run in to capture b twice and no one attempts to help I just leave.

Edited by SugaComa: 1/12/2016 1:03:22 AMCos my first priority is hitting B hard ... Even if I don't capture it hopefully I make enough of a problem to keep the other team off while they take home then hit B as back up help capture B... My second priority is pushing past B and keeping the enemy from getting out of their third if the map Control is a team effort, do not under estimate what those if us who don't cskture points are doing for you as a team
-
Sooooo... you're the dumbass flipping the spawns? Good info, thanks for sharing
-
Nope ... You don't push that far in if you do as you say you flip the spawn and have them spawning behind you and that defeats the point of my tactic. It's about knowing how far to push ... Which I do
-
Mmhm... sure you do kiddo
-
Though on some maps it's worth letting the enemy have B lock them into it and your team control A and C.
-
Less with the kiddo please I'm probably twice you're age ... But I hate that ignorant people don't understand tactics ... Here is how we play control. Fastest players run to B capture it or hold it off until back up arrives , slower players capture home then move up to be Next team splits to hold all choke points that allow the other team from moving from their third with out pushing into flip the spawn ... Hold down choke points It's really that simple ... If done right most players will have 0 or 1 capture the whole game and win
-
And, more to your own assertion about tactics, if you had a better grasp of them perhaps your stats would reflect it.
-
Look at 40 and arthritis in my hands I find it hard to react quickly to multiple targets but I do all right holding chock points ... Besides I don't worry about my kdr n I play crucible to relax n have fun I'm sorry my kdr offends you ... But that doesn't mean I m not putting in the effort to win as team

Just look at the post immediately below this one.

Aaaaand again:
You're absolutely right. And that's the ONLY time you should have only 2 caps. If your team is playing to perfection and totally locking down 2 objectives, great. But in the VAST majority of matches that's not what happens. I probably average 5-6 caps per game, if I'm playing with randoms. It's not hard, I just play the objective. So it's bullshit when there's some scrub bypassing the first objective to run near B so he can camp the whole match. Hence, reporting. In the overwhelming majority of matches, if you have less than 3 caps it's because you are either A) a scrub-tastic camper or B) completely ignoring the objective. Case in point: the Black Garden map, where I've seen entire teams run PAST the first objective so they can sit BEHIND B on either side trying to snipe each other like retards. Meanwhile nobody is bothering to even ATTEMPT to cap. There's a game mode for that trash. Stay there.
