• Mission Statement

We are now an official clan of the Dads of Destiny for Xbox One sharing the same mission statement as them as indicated below. Our motto LET IT GO (Yes you can sing it if you want too) means just that, LET IT GO. You didn't get that kill? Just LET IT GO! You die over and over? Just LET IT GO! We all have those frustrating moments while gaming and in life, but that’s what we are here for, to help each other in those times of need. So when things get tough, band together and just - "LET IT GOOO!!!" Mission Statement: “We’re a growing collective of dads, granddads, and uncles. Our ages span from 18 – 60 and we share common values. We’re all family-oriented guys who understand that normal day-to-day life comes first and gaming comes second. We are business owners, laborers, investors, doctors, lawyers, bankers, chefs, and artists. We are unique individuals who have come together with a common interest. We are gamers. We are fathers. We are the Dads of Destiny.”

A little something different... again!

Hey all you DoDs out there! I've been a bit absent from the forums for the past week due to a bit of vacation, but I'm back and glad to see the forum board is still booming with posts! But, once again, I bring with me something a little bit different then the regular Destiny info. Yes, that’s right! I’m bringing the Dad back in DoD (clever word play! HAHA! ...well... kind of... <.<). So here's a story of my oldest and her new pet, Mr. Friend....sigh~ So my daughter came home from a birthday party that her grandmother took her too, the birthday party of a little 4 year old boy that my mother likes to say is my daughter’s boyfriend. She knows this irks me and does it to rile me up. Ugh, mothers~ Anyways. She brings home our little girl with a new friend. Mr Friend to be exact, as my daughter has taken to naming this most wonderful of goldfish. Yes, a goldfish. Sure, I know what many of you are thinking. There easy to take care of! Put it in a bowl; feed it some food and ta-da! Best pet EVER! .... if only this where true. You see, my wife doesn’t want my daughter to experience the death of her first pet at such a young age and there for I looked up the proper... yes... PROPER way, of taking care of a goldfish. And dear freaken god all mighty~ Mr Friend, welcome to Holiday Inn v.v Look it up! There's a bunch of stuff you have to do for the little guys and you have to be so precise too! Cause any little thing you do wrong can cause the little dumb (but cute) fish to go belly up! So, it has now come to fall onto me to keep Mr Friend alive as long as I can... and soon Mr Friend will have a bubbler machine for his fish bowl sometime this week as well. Yes, Mr Friend, welcome to Fish Spa Heaven apparently. So, you guys got any good stories about your little ones and the 'pets' they brought home with them? Figure there has to be others out there and one's that will make my own situation look simple and easy in comparison too. So go ahead you DoDs! Tell us your stories and LET IT GOOO!!!
