Any tips for getting away from Crota after getting your hits in on the second kneel down? I was doing the blink strike invisible thing last night and everything went well, got my 3 hits per kneel, but when trying to get out of there I kept getting killed. Sometimes the sword would despawn when I was trying to airslash away or he would just get me even while airslashing out. I"m holding forward while hitting R2. Maybe I'm not landing the first hit soon enough.. Ideas?

Edited by Tha_Kid: 1/28/2015 4:43:57 PMu dont wait fir him to be kneeled... u start attacking when u see that tiny bit of white still left... and u should be looking up if your a invis hunter sword holder. and u should always have your super up when your going for the sword, vanish before hand get ur 3hit drop sword melee invis. have your team build up orbs at the start the 4 hallowed knights is more then enough to always have your super active edit: and the sword shouldnt disappear as quick u should still have enough time to melee swipe fly your way out

If the sword was disappearing while you were still up there on the crota platform then it took a little too long for his shield to drop or for you to jump up to him. Sword is on a timer so if you do 3 hits each you should have plenty of time to slash away

Sometimes crota stays down longer and sometimes he jumps up quick and kills you. This guy had good timing but he won't answer you because with 4 hits a piece it relies heavily on luck that crota doesn't get up quickly and/or lunge at you when he stands up. Many times I've been killed while 15-20 feet off his platform from his slam.

I'm srry I didn't respond as quickly as needed. You do run into him getting up quickly but that's usually caused by overburning Crota. Once he is down people need to stop shooting at him. You need to be attacking as soon as I see the rockets make contact with Crota. Hopefully this helps
