Overall yes, Crota is pretty easy, the issue is that you generally need everything to go off without a hitch and that's difficult. I finished up the end fight today with a really good group and it still took us an hour because you have to get the sword hit timing just right. I've noticed with raid this time around people are just more impatient, its the most difficult thing in the game, it's supposed to be challenging for people

 •
the issue is that you generally need everything to go off without a hitch and that's difficult
I've noticed this. Or I should say it's seemed this way. We'll have a plan and then something doesn't quite happen right and everything falls apart FAST and someone yells wipe and it's time for another round. A couple of examples: 1. The ogres spawn when people say that they shouldn't 2. Crota decides to make a mad dash through the upper level of the crystal house (he moves FAST when he wants to) 3. Someone wipes and everyone, or some people decide it's easier to wipe than to recover (why?) 4. People yell for downing him too early (or our rockets go too fast) 5. People yell for downing him too late (or our rockets go too slow) There are things that are assumed that people know, too, when they might not. Examples: 1. When people are referring to "boomers" they're talking about the nights that spawn in the watch towers, and not the cursed thralls that actually do really go "boom" (BTW: I'm still unclear about whether the nights that jump onto the bridge are included with the term boomer... is it appropriate to call out boomer when one of them is on the bridge? I dunno, I do anyhow) 2. After you down Crota and he gets back up he's tinged slightly yellow for a bit. I did not know until this afternoon (really) that he's impervious until the yellow tinge goes away. Nobody had ever mentioned that while I was on a team in the raid before this afternoon.
I've noticed with raid this time around people are just more impatient, its the most difficult thing in the game, it's supposed to be challenging for people
It it, and it's frustrating dropping 45-60 minutes on it to have everyone quit too :)

 • Another thing I didn't know until today is that Crota will follow you into the upper level. and he's FAST. That took me completely by surprise.
