Do we really want to go through all the inaccuracies in this 500 million dollar in depth, rich story telling game? I'm just talking about with the game.
How about when we destroy Crota's soul in The Awakening (I think), stop the hive from summoning him and then....we fight him in the raid. Like what happened? I thought we stopped them. Did they have a secret little summoning we didn't know about?

Edited by Jiovanie-: 1/3/2015 11:27:04 PMYou don't destroy his soul; you banish it. Essentially, the Hive were plotting to invade Earth by bringing Crota back with a physical body. During that mission, you essentially cock block him. You go to the raid to finally destroy him. You don't kill his body like Eris' team did; you destroy his soul. Before doing this, you severely weaken him by killing his hand, eyes, heart, might and will. Think about that for a moment, and you'll understand why Eris' team of six failed even though they came so close. If Crota could make one sword, what would stop him from making a second? Also, the sword he weilds during the raid doesn't appear to be physically if I recall correctly.

Nice info, thank you

No problem, I thought the story was bland and full of potholes til I actually read the Grimoire and paid attention to the annoying cutscene dialogue. The one about the Traveler is even better. It was pinned down by the Darkness from multiple sources but slowly, it's getting stronger while the dark does.

stop the hive from summoning him and just saying YOU GO TO HIS UNIVERSE TO SEAL HIM FOREVER
-
You kill his soul so he can't be reincarnated so when you kill him he dies permenently. He's waiting to be merged with it before he leads the invasion of earth

Well thank you....but I'm sure there are more instances Besides...how do you know that? I play every night, how do I not know that, where did they tell us that? Was I just not paying attention to the rich story
