Hi shorttimegi,
The errors you are seeing can be caused by general disconnections between you and the different routes your traffic takes to get to Bungie. This includes packet loss or disconnections between your home network and Bungie and can even be caused by certain WiFi setups, problems with wiring, or other issues that require on-site support or expert investigation.
Can I have you try these steps: http://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12147 This will have you plug directly into the modem and see if the underlying cause is upstream from your home.

I already tried all of this and nothing is helping!! It is absolutely crazy! I have been kicked around 50 times in the last 2 days!! Acknowledge the problem and fix it! it has nothing got to do with my internet!
-
lol, the answer from BNGHelp0 is sooooo cute! they think we are all i**ots. pls find a solution and let us not longer try such things like "connect your consol/PC to the internet".
-
I'm getting the same problems here any help would be appreciated,I'm in Ireland also
-
ha ha fix it now
-
same issue here. NO Internet problem. always end up in orbit. #anteater #bee please fix that fast!! can't play any strikes and raids anymore.
-

-

-
Same issue. Since the 17.
-
Oh look, another copypasta reply.. Well done.
-
Disconnecting every 5 minutes the last two days, was fine for weeks before this(UPC IRELAND)
-
As you can tell that most of the people encountering this issue are in Ireland and Germany. If you read my post it already stated that my PS4 is wired and not using wifi. I have never encounters any issues until the last couple of days (starting Tuesday) after the last patch which is the same story with all the other numerous post with the same problem. Isn't it possible its on your end and not on the numerous others encountering this?
-
Hi shorttimegi, Being wired doesn't always mean a console is directly connected to a modem, it really does depend on the home network and I apologize if it seemed I was asking you to do something you are already doing. The path Destiny network traffic takes can be broken into 3 general groups; a player's home network, intermediary 3rd party networks, and finally our server. I can confirm that our server is operating as expected and I haven't seen any messages to the contrary today. Once you can confirm your home network is not generating errors, then things get a bit tricky and contacting your ISP may be necessary.
-
This is crazy! how can you say it is someone's home network, when it is happening to so many people? I can use my internet, I can talk to people over xbox live, but I keep getting kicked form 'Destiny'! Surely if so many people are having issues with 'Destiny' you guys should try and actually fix it, instead of trying to direct the issue to some one else!
-
it's not a single user problem BNGHelp0, as you can read, many people having the same issue. same here at my side. today i came back from vacation and loaded the update. *bäähm* the game is now unplayable. before vacation, everything went well. you see, it's not a problem on the user-side.... ;-)
-
There are too many people complaining about the same issue for it to be a coincidence. I'm on Xbox One (from Ireland and using UPC) and I'm experiencing the same problem. I can play Titanfall with no disconnects. It's something with your game/servers #Bungie.
-
bungie, there is a definite problem with european UPC users repeatedly getting kicked to orbit since the update earlier in the week can you please stop copy pasting responses and investigate this? i've gotten 5 anteater errors in the past 5 minutes, your game is broken
-
This.
-
If your servers are all operational and you have not received any reports to the contrary, then how can you explain all the commenters in this post and several like this who have the exact same errors? Did multiple European ISPs suddenly block Destiny today?
-
We are investigating, however please consider that in some instances, temporary network congestion can be the culprit, opposed to a specific change made to settings anywhere. I've worked with players in the past experiencing the same (frustrating) errors, only for everything to clear up shortly afterwards. If you continue to see errors, do consider contacting your ISP as part of the steps here http://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12147.
-
contacted my isp per your advice and they said my connection is strong receiving at 54mb download and 24 upload so it isnt on my side that the problem is occuring
-
I am my own ISP. Stop talking nonsense to these costumers. Please. Do us and you a favor and forward this very big problem and stop fingering your paying consumer.
-
temporary since Tuesday?

Edited by Joseei: 12/20/2014 3:10:45 AMI don't mean to be rude but stop copying and pasting us stuff we already know. Most of us know our stuff (we have no problems with our internet on our PCs + we have fast speeds + most of us are wired) and MANY European users are affected, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany etc. It seems to be mostly a ISP called UPC. A UPC rep himself said on a very popular Irish forum that he himself has been getting these errors too and its definitely not on our end. Don't try tell us to contact our ISPs either, cos you'll send us there and they'll send us right back. This is CLEARLY a issue that JUST started occurring since the last patch and it IS on your end, please fix it - please. I apologize If I sound rude but this is 1000000% a issue on Bungie's end and I want to play again.

Ever since the expansion the game has like frozen on me a half dozen times for no reason. The expansion has clearly not been integrated successfully and the hotfix as made things worse.

BNGHelp0, I am having a similar issue here, Im a software dev, so I know a couple of things about networks and so on. I can guarantee the issue is not with the individual customers, in all probability this issue is caused by a routing issue between your servers and the customers ISPs. You might want to check to see if there is a commonality between the customers ISPs (I myself am a UPC Ireland customer) Just a suggestion.
