People don't pay attention to the story, and don't even bother with Grimoire. Everybody wants to be fed with a spoon full of a story. This is the first game of a new series. There is bound to be an incomplete story. We have destroyed the Black Garden, and the Traveler has begun to heal. The rest is up to Grimoire. And destiny 2. Maybe House of Wolves.

Edited by Namiwakiru: 12/18/2014 1:33:37 AMNobody is asking to be spoon fed story...a good mystery still answers some questions while posing others and doesn't have to give up everything in one go........Destiny does none of this, the same questions you have at the start are the same ones you have at the end and the rest is clumsy and irrelevant exposition that doesn't even explain anything substantial to the narrative. Stop reducing honest and practical criticism to idiotic extremes to invalidate the pursuit of beneficial changes. As good as Grimore cards are, Destiny isn't bubblegum

The writer left during development before the story could be finished.

Grimore is lore not story.. I shouldn't have to go out of game for it either..... and I don't care if they with fix stuff in destiny 2.. destiny had a major change which messed everything up and is why the story sucks.. I don't forgive them despite that either.. things are too vague and the new dlc does nothing but make more vague questions.. I personally want crota to be back so we can off the entire tower population for being uninteresting...

The Grimoire lore will answer most of your questions that were unanswered in the game.
-
Again, no one wants to go off site to read stuff that could have been explained during story in a more interesting way.
-
You don't have to get off.

You're defending lazy developers. Stop.
-
See what I mean, have you bothered with Grimoire? Did you actually pay attention to the in game story? Please enlighten me... Besides you're the guy who refunded Destiny. Why are you still on the forums?

I've read every grimiore, extensively. It's not a story... At all. If it were a book the grimoire cards would be flavor at the beginning of the chapters that some sci fi or fantasy books have, a cock tease, if you will. The actual story is what is missing.

The story should not be separated from the game. I'm not going to bother reading it as the narrative should be present in the damn game.

When I pay for a game, I want the story to be included in it. Not on card that are seperate from the game. Cant even access them ingame. Stip defending their laziness
