That depends.
More classes is better only if the classes are varied and interesting.
For example:
• Warrior (swords, shields and dual wielding)
• Alchemist (brews potions and 'grenades')
• Mystic Knight (combination of sword and sword based magic)
• Thief (capable of stealing and being hard to hit)
• Wizard (offensive magic)
• Cleric (healing magic)
• Green Mage (magical buffs and debuffs)
• Battlemaster (heavy warrior capable of buffing and some debuffing)
• Monk (hand-to-hand combat and chi attacks)
No one will enjoy a game if you have 5 different 'warrior' variants with little to no difference between them.

Edited by The Fallen Zyzz: 12/12/2014 5:44:03 AMThe earliest example of the 'mystic knight' that I personally know of is the Red Mage. I always assumed that a Battlemage is a melee and magic hybrid that leans towards magic.

Ours is basically going to be a melee mage with teleportation skills... Little to no range to balance him out a bit more

Depends on the game.

All of my warrior variants go under the same class, and i have i think 5 different branches for the Warrior skill tree. The only "reskin" for a warrior i have would probably be a DPS Paladin

Yeah, that's a good way to approach it. Be sure to post on Bnet to give us a heads up if you ever decide to release this game. It sounds fairly interesting.
-
yes it does

If I could get some connections that'd be great, but im only one 17 so I'll probably just post our rules and whatnot
-
Do that. Start there. Keep pushing and chasing. What are you studying?
-
High school. Lol
