After doing a number or raids I can conclude a list of problems encountered throughout the raid. The list is as follow and it seems all of the problems started after the supposed Atheon fix and RNG addition:
1.) Atheon sometimes teleports 1-2 people
2.) Ammo synthesis when used in hard mode doesn't work
3.) Praetorians gaining health when it seems you have killed them, this also holds true for hobgoblins. All also holds true when at the start of the raid as well
4.) When either running or walking through the portal, it sends you right back to the same room and never back to the main area
5.) Oracles sometimes doesn't give off sound when they spawn
6.) Oracles spawn in after waiting 1-3 minutes, by that time you have subcomed to the oracles
7.) When the user for the shield walks into a bottomless pit the shield doesn't come back to the surface like it was claimed to
8.) Lag issues is a big problem, may it be on whoevers end
9.) The problems persistently gets worse after every death
These are all the problems I can think of to report, hopefully these are recognized and soon to see fixes to them. I also hope the same problems do not persist in the new upcoming DLC.

Dunno if your portal bug covers this one or not, but the other day a team member and myself got stuck in a portal loop. 3 of us teleported, we get shield, kill oracles, proceed to exit. One member goes through fine, myself and the shield bearer however run through the portal and just come out on the other side, still in the warp destination. Turn around and try again. Warp animation happens, but we just walk through again to the other side. We start just running through it in a circle and joking until time’s vengeance ends and it warps new players. However we are still stuck in the last warp location, so now the shield bearer’s shield disappears (presumably to respawn in the new location) but he and I are still stuck inside. Meanwhile 3 other players have been teleported to the new location leaving 1 person outside to defend the gate. Obviously at this point we all wiped. And while we are on the subject that warp animation through the gate is kind of excessive. It took a beat or two for us to even realize we hadn’t warped because the animation ruins your visibility.

Also if your advertising raid gear on the raid then it shouldn't be random, it should be mandatory raid gear for making it through the raid as a reward for each completion of checkpoints.

On the templar when defending the confluxes, the enemies sometimes instantly teleport to the conflux whit no chance to respond to the problem 11.) On atheon, it is possible to be detained when teleported. Undesired by the community 12.) Damage being dealt sometimes doesn't appear until a set amount of time had passed. Possible lag issues?

i keep getting kicked ever since the new update it keeps saying contacting destiny servers i get the code baboon im on a normal router and cant do anything how do i fix it

I have seen all of the above, plus getting teleported with detain shields.

Host/latency issues are caused by the host of the game not having the best connection with Destiny servers (due to firewall/NAT) as well as the individual players connection to that host (also firewall/NAT). To fix these pick someone with fast, reliable, and open internet as your fireteam leader for raid. Number 1 is a host/latency issue, also has a little bit of problems when you stand too close to each other, if you have this happening with your group, try and split up, stay at least 5 meters apart. Number 2 is a known bug if you have full consumables. Number 3 is a host/latency issue. Number 4 is due to 2 or more people trying to go through the portal at the same time, go through one at a time in single file. Number 5 is due to sound bugs in Destiny. Fix for this is to restart the application. Number 6 is a host/latency issue. Number 7 is sort of irrelevant. They promised it for Templar fight only, and it works for that. Where would the relic go if you drop it at Atheon? Back in the portal? That's a waste of time and almost suicide. Outside of the portal? There are too many ways that could be taken advantage of and exploted. Just going to have to get good at not dying over a chasm. Number 8 is a host/latency issue. Number 9 is probably the only one on this list that I don't understand, and would love to have this fixed as it causes most of the above.

On hard mode I've been Teleporting with the detain field around me. Twice.

2 RepliesI think it should be pointed out that when Atheon only teleports two people, its usually because somebody was killed just before the teleport and they were selected before hand.

Edited by LUCALEVA: 11/17/2014 2:31:35 PMHad a strange one the other night - We got ported to Venus/Jungle/Green and I jumped down killed the guys was coming up to cleanse and no Oracles spawned. We waited a few seconds when the three badies respawned back alive and then all the oracles came at the same time. Very strange - We have also been ported when all the oracles were already lit up and turning red so....wipe and try again. Oh yeah, once he didn't teleport anyone - all the sup's were kinda frozen in time - You could push them around and nothing would happen - kinda funny. I then tried to kill Atheon and he quickly woke up and stomped on me :-)

1 ReplyI have experienced all of these errors through several raids and written a couple detailed posts here in the forums. Recently, we have discovered a solution to the problem that has worked for my teams so far. As far as we know, Destiny's network data is handled "port to port" meaning one member of your team is acting as the "Host" for the Raid's data that the other 5 members are connected to. If your Host has an unstable Internet connection, it can cause most of the errors described in your post as well as enemies instantly regaining health or coming back to life, and people dying inside the relic shield while standing right next to people that lived. We have found that these glitches disappeared immediately after having the Host leave the Raid and rejoin, which causes a new Host to be chosen out of the remaining 5. Identifying the Host can be tricky, as it's not always the Fireteam leader. Usually if your Host is lagging and your Raid is glitching left and right, you can see the player twitching around when they move. The Host also will generally not experience lag or enemies regenerating on his end as his console is serving the data for the Raid. So far, these are the only methods we have found for identifying the Host. So if your Raid is littered with glitches, watch your team members as they move around to find the one who's lagging and have him rejoin. Another solution that worked for us is to have everyone leave except for one person who has the most reliable Internet connection. This should make him the data Host and should fix your glitches if you have everyone join him. Quick recap: - Glitches are caused by the Host of a match having a bad connection. - Having the Host leave and rejoin will select a new Host. - Fireteam members that you see twitching or lagging should leave and rejoin. - If you can't see anyone twitching and you're still getting heavily glitched, have everyone but the person with the strongest connection leave and rejoin all at once, making him the Host. Hope this helps, please let me know if this works for you on other consoles than the PS4.
