Agreed, nonstop hawk & caterpillar despite setting up static IP & port forwarding. No problems with other games. I'm not going to give up on Destiny, just going to give them a few months to figure out their issues before playing again. This is sooooo frustrating.

Same here. Mostly caterpillar but a hawk every once in a while. They started a couple weeks ago after the first few weeks I had nothing. Since Saturday it's gotten better & only kicked off every 20-30 minutes instead of every couple. Better but not acceptable. It may or may not have been because I reconfigured my router that it got better. Opened ports, setup static IP, & the one that may have done it was setting my firewall on the router to none (rather than low). Mine is a Comcast modem/router in one.

Edited by CoolBreeze916: 11/12/2014 2:15:32 AMThe fix for Cattle and catapiller is this. Call you internet service provider. Have them reset your modem on their end. After they are done. Factory reset your router. Don't forget to recreate your network name and password. After I did this issue never came back. No need to port forward.

I think it's different for everyone. I upgraded to Xbox one and didn't change anything with my router or Internet and I've had zero issues. I think it comes down to your modem. I googled mine and found that according to other players that you had to port forward and set security to off. Seemed to make the errors go down.
