  • 200 damage in pvp doesn't kill fully health players? Incendiary blade + precision hit with throwing knife. Yet, 190 damage (2 headshots doing 95 dmg each) from a Painted Big Chief Hand Cannon can.

  • Then you explain why it's ok that a shoulder charge could one shot no better where you hit them or that a normal melee to the head one shots but a well aimed throwing knife to the head can't

  • on top of that shoulder charges you can see coming and dont offer damage resistance as long as you paying attention your effectively negating the power of the shoulder charge. however I do agree it does need a nerf 1 charge can kill 1-3 clustered enemies.

  • Unless you rocking an auto rifle the Time to Kill of the other guns wont finish off a titan rushing at you. Not to mention they can tank most of your shots, and their dash has quite the distance.

  • Titans are not tanks and you can thank crappyvisions targeted market resreach for that. "Everyone wants to do the damages." When I pick a tank class I expect to live longer then 0.5 seconds in a boss fight. Iron banner made it even more clear titans are not tanks they are simply a slower version of other classes with up close and personal skills.

  • Its not okay; never said it was. Making another broken mechanic to alleviate other broken mechanics only breaks the game further. The Shoulder Barge needs to be nerfed; the Hunter's Melee does not need to be buffed.

  • Then agree that Precision hit with throwing knife + the full burn damage from incendiary blade should kill someone at full health. Because altogether it does 200 fking damage. normally it takes 180 to kill someone.

    Nope, because a Painted Big Chief does 95 a head shot and kills in 2 head shots at a total of 190. As a gunslinger I don't think it is fair that I have to do twice the work and effort aiming and planning just to get a kill when another class can do it in half the time with 0 effort.

  • Can you link it for me? Because 210 is enough to kill. My Thorn does 84 per head shot and 42 from DoT (6 ticks of 7 damage). It kills in 2 head shots + the DoT. That totals to 210.

    Ahh it's 200 my mistake must have confused two different games, I'd post the link but I'm on my phone at the moment and don't know how to do that from here, it's in the patch notes 1.0.1 though

  • That still doesn't atone for regular melees for being able to one shot to the head while a special melee to the head does not

  • What? Melee cannot crit; cannot get a one-shot when striking the head. If a target's health is low enough, sure. They are killed. If a target is low and you hit them with a Knife to the head, you can kill them. Knife deals 130 with a crit. Which is MORE than all other melee.
