I'd say your best bet is to head over to eBay to get a Ghost Edition... for $300 or more.
That's where I had to get mine last week.

$300? And I thought $150 was too expensive for a single game already.
-
I think $150 was probably reasonable for all the content... but $300, that would be the sentimental inflation XD.
-
I dont have the money for that, $300 is a lot $150 is a lot too, a little more than what I would want to pay. But the Ghost is calling me, I want it...

Edited by MSG ANIMOTAKU: 7/29/2014 6:51:52 PMThat's exactly what I felt... it was more than a third of my money for the month... due to circumstances I only get $900 per month... but I can suffer for a month, and reminisce for a lifetime. Regardless, good luck. I hope you can get one. I've felt your pain before.
-
Damn, when I think of it like that, I want it more... "but I can suffer for a month, and reminisce for a lifetime." I gotta find it soon :/
-
I would give you mine... if I had two. I sincerely hope you can get it. I feel kinda guilty for being able to get mine because truth be told I don't even have a job. I'm mentally disabled and can't work... the money came from my survivor benefits. So may the Traveler be with you.
-
Thank man, I hope it restocks, I feel it will, as most things do at last minute. Im unable to have a job right now, I was going to be a life guard, but I was going on a trip to Europe and they wouldn't hire me if I was gone for 3 weeks. As I dont know much about the disability you have right now, I hope you can recover from whatever happened to you.
-
I'm not some mopey, entitled kid who want's the internet's sympathy, but you could have been a dick and told me to get a job, a semi-common response, so I really do appreciate the support. :) When Bungie announced these editions on B-day... I thought they were announcing they're existence, not they're release. I didn't find out about that until two weeks ago... henceforth the desperation buy at $300. If I see one for lower I'll let you know, but Bungie said they wanted to keep these editions "limited". More so than the norm.
-
No problem man, I truly hope you make a fast recovery! I actually thought the same at the start, but even though, I would be unable to call gamestop and ask them to upgrade my game. I tried that with reach, I preorderd it right away, and when the other editions were announced I tried to call gamestop to upgrade it. All for the guy to tell me I have to be in the store to upgrade. As soon as I realized this, I knew I was screwed... You dont have to help me, but, any help helps :)
-
You know, the problem with stores is sometimes... they don't hire people who know jack squat about games. Which makes pre-ordering and upgrading real difficult.
-
I went to a target literally right next to my gamestop to preorder the XB1, Gamestop was sold out at the time. They did not even know what a preorder was, even though I showed the guy the target website on my phone saying "preorder available"

0_0 Holy -blam! I don't understand how half of a company can get how something works, and not the other half. Alot take no pride in their work at all, thusly providing horrible customer aid... and often a bad mood. And on top of that they don't know how to do the job. Don't get me wrong, I'd be depressed with that job too, but I wouldn't show it to the customer. And it's likely not their fault that the higher-up's don't teach them everything they need to know. Makes the whole thing worse though.

Edited by killimaze: 7/29/2014 7:51:31 PMIm lucky gamestop restocked on the XB1. I see bestbuy has the limited in stock, not the ghost. Ill take the limited, but I will always have that wanting for the ghost :-I
-
Evidently, your pretty lucky to even get that from what I've heard. If the model Ghost was of particular interest to you, I've heard talk that you can buy that individually. I only saw that in one post and I haven't looked to confirm it, so temper your expectations.
-
If I can buy the ghost individually, I will be 100% satisfied with the limited...
