It's a "Limited" edition, which means you should have gotten it earlier.

My Issue is they were sold out day 1, you shouldn't be THAT limited in stock
-
Exactly what I think is the problem, It was TOO limited from the start...
-
It wasn't that limited. A lot of people just bought it. A lot.
-
If 3 EBGames stores, 2 right next to each other in a small town are sold out from day 1 in addition to a major cities store, there is something wrong.
-
There's nothing wrong, really. You have the Limited Edition, which has limited in the name. Then, above that, you have the Ghost edition. There isn't supposed to be a surplus.
-
As i said, i went in the day the day after announcement in the major city, and when i got home from work in the town i live on day one, BOTH places sold out of ghost and limited, 3 stores...that should not be
-
Limited. That's all I have to say.

Edited by Deathstrike616: 8/15/2014 9:34:42 PMToo limited. That's all I have to say. But really, come on. You have loads of people absolutely desperate - stark raving desperate - to throw Activision 300% the game's value just for a figurine, a fancy case, and a couple postcards. AV are not the type to turn their backs on this kind of opportunity, especially with $500m out of their own pockets and into a new IP, that they most likely want to recoup, and I don't think Bungie are either. It happened with Call of Duty, it'll happen with Destiny.
-
What has been sold (or is being held by retailers) is all there is, that's all there is to it. At least for now. I can see Activision and Bungie possibly pumping more out for the holiday season, but other than that, Bungie is keeping it as the first truly limited edition in some time.
-
I feel like they needed a 1 per customer rule if it was that limited...
-
I know its limited, I was in Europe when the other editions were announced so I wasnt able to upgrade my game. As gamestop has the "Limited" editions back in stock on the website, I was asking if others though it would be in stock in the stores as well.
-
its possible to be ,on the night of the launch .You might have wait in a big line at gamestop though.
-
Gamestop does have the limited edition in stock in there web store you will have to pay full price for it and it will not be in your hands on 9.9.14 it could take 5 to 10 business days after 9.9.14 . I upgraded mine yesterday . :)
