Because if I find a legendary warlock item, I'd like to be able to trade it for a titan legendary. Does anybody know the answer to this question?
-
Maybe, idk. If they do, good? If not, ok?
-
1 ReplyI'm hoping they do something so I can exchange my useless ascendant shards. I'd even trade them for ammo. Maybe player to player trading with a cost. Say 10 strange coins per trade. Another idea is to have the opportunity to auction anything you dont want. There are so many ways to do this. Restrictions people, that's all it is. Try something bungie, if it doesn't work, change it :-)

It will never have a trading system.
-
Maybe eventually but not in the near future.

3 RepliesA trading system would not break the game, this game runs on a constant saving and streaming system so there would be no ways to duplicate weapons... And if that is not your concern then think on how many players have MULTIPLE exotic weapons or gear while others only have a few good ones... In other words for players that have many extras with plenty of game time could easily trade (with certain boundaries) for something else that they want or need instead... Now with that being said, the most efficient way to do this would technically not be a trading system but rather more like an auction house, and that could run Bungies servers even more than they are currently. So having more trades and more people within the tower would considerably slow gaming speed... Anyway some type of trading would be benficial especially to newer players.

No but we'll have infusion so you will be able the use that warlock helmet to make your helm more powerful
-
1 ReplyHopefully not.. but with the direction they're taking destiny something like trading might be implemented. I would like if you could swap at reward screens!
-
Maybe

1 ReplyI say don't make a trading system but a auction house where you can bid on items. Make it so you can't find out who is selling the item so it isn't exploitable.
-
No. I really hope not. I'd hate it if people could pay cash for exotics.
-
Never

7 RepliesThey should just start us out with every item in the game in a giant vault that we can have whatever we want so that we can have everything without having to play the game at all. That would be my preferred system.

117 RepliesEdited by FoxhuntRadio: 12/12/2014 8:43:46 PMi have a simple solution that should appease everyone on both side of the in game trading debate......while both sides have a valid argument, the point everyone is missing is that this game was originally designed with a trade system and that is the only reason it has RNG loot......what appears to be a broken random loot system is not broken, its just missing the vital component that it was designed around....trading.....yes, open free trade would ruin the game, and yes no trading is unrealistic based on the design of the game.....so how about this.... 1. you can only trade with clan mates 2. you must be a member of the clan for 30 days to be able to trade 3. only equal value items can be traded (exotic for exotic, raid gear for raid gear) 4. you earn a traders mark for completing the raid 2 or 3 weeks in a row 5. both trading parties must have a traders mark to trade 6. each traders mark will allow only 1 trade *EDIT* 7. All gear traded should be completely reset once it has been traded this way, you cannot trade all you want, cannot sell or trade items to randoms, cannot become friends just to sell and trade an item, none of that would be an issue at all.....and to be honest, would save a lot of customers and make the game experience more dynamic and complete in my opinion....does anybody agree?

5 RepliesNo it would be broken pay to win
-
-blam!- off, They will add it when people stop playing because there is no player trading system, nice job Bungie
-
There will most likely NEVER be a trading system but if it did the game would be in a whole new level.
-
-
1 ReplyNo, it won't. Ever. It would cut far too much into the grind and people would be done far sooner and spend less time ingame. All of which bungie vision does not want.
-
1 ReplyGambling would be cool too, like maybe a new Vendor or something. Place in Your Whole Stash of Glimmer for the Monte Carlo and he loses it all or wins it and the gun! That would be cool.

I know that a few months ago Destiny trademarked the rights to a name and a badge. These represent some type of trading company that was going to show up in the game. It is yet to be seen if this new company would allow trading across different guardians, or if it will end up being something like the new forges that will be creating the new weapons in TTK.
-
Hold on. Lemme check my crystal ball.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if they add it BECUSE of the new "class specific" guns
-
I would say you can trade everything except exotic weapons.
-
Nahhh. I think it would mess the game up and make all of the rare items easily obtained
