Ok so I'm very confused and I would love someone to clear the fog for me. So I've heard that Destiny will be Rated T for Teens and I've heard it will be Rated M for Mature but I can't verify either one, so if someone could fill me in on what they know so far on the ratings of the game I would appreciate it. From what I've seen I thought that Destiny was going to be rated M for Mature but from what other people have been saying, it's gonna be rated T for Teens. And to add to this topic how do you guys feel if it was rated T for Teens or if it was rated M for Mature?
Thanks for commenting
The last time I checked, the wanted a T-rating. However, the Gamestop I preordered Destiny from did business under the assumption that it would be rated M, probably as precautionary measures.
-
It is anticipated to be mature.
-
1 ReplyIt has already been concerned that they are predicting an m rating for the game
-
M for Mteen.
-
JO for Jesus Only (do you get the reference? ) but in all seriousness it should be M.
-
Mature. Either way I can get my dad to buy the game lol
-
M because I believed someone said that. And on one of my posts DeeJ basically confirmed it.
-
Doesn't matter. Changes nothing
-
Bungie's contract with Activision says that it has to be teen.
-
I'm 36 and don't care either or. If its mature for blood, tobacco, sex, beers and other stuff of that nature. It will be cool with me, but if the F word and crap language is put in just to sound tuff and cool I'll just mute the story and be disappointed. Really I'm happy with T, I just want a great story, good game mechanics and amazing co-op and pvp.

M for master of awesomeness rate ing

Edited by Sy Raptor: 4/8/2014 6:41:16 PMHopefully M for Mature will keep most of the annoying, spoilt 9 year olds away.

It will most likely be rated M but they might add blood fall of cyber tron was rated T for blood and violence but T feels right for destiny well in my opinion. We didn't see blood In the presentation but I doubt there won't be blood In the final build in the game.
-
Lets all be honest here: they might as well make it E for everyone and keep the blood, guts, add sexuality, and explicit language because at the end of the day the rating doesn't matter. I can't tell you how many times I've heard some immature kiddie scream into my headphones while playing cod. They are going to play destiny no matter what. Parents will still fail as parents and buy their grade schoolers this game.

It states on the preview 'Anticipated M rating'
-
Your mom wont buy you Destiny, no
-
It's anticipated to be rated M
-
2 RepliesI'd say M because of violence mainly.
-
anticipated M
-
I heard that it will be rated teen
-
8 RepliesI think it will be M....if they can rate the Halos as M just for some violence then Destiny will probably be M.....not that it matters.....saw some parents buy their 10 ur old a copy of Gears of War 2so rating really doesn't mean *$*#-$+
