For all of those of you who have played Skyrim I'm sure you're at least aware of the quest that comes up during the quest chain/line that the Blades faction has where they want you to kill Paarthurnax.
I've already decided that I am not going to do it as I can't bring myself to kill Paarthurnax, someone I consider my character's friend and mentor as well as family of a sorts. So I know that Delphine and Esbern are going to hate my guts and won't even give me the time of day for doing that....what I'm wondering though is, do any of the followers you've recruited into the Blades also give you the cold shoulder and refuse to have anything to do with you if you won't kill Paarthurnax, or is it just Delphine and Esbern who act that way? Because I don't want to lose the ability to use any of my followers just because I refused to help the two leaders of the Blades in their insane quest for irrational vengeance. So yeah, do I "lose" my any followers I brought into the Blades if I refuse to kill Paarthurnax, or do followers still behave as they would normally?

1 ReplyNo. Only Esbern and that ignorant, arrogant -blam!- Delphine act that way towards Paarthurnax . All of your other Followers will be just fine. And really, all you're missing in the Blades pathetically minor Questline is that you go on Dragon-hunting missions ad nauseum and recruit some new members to the Blades (who may or may not join you on said hunts, depending on how the game feels at the time...). It's better to give them both the finger and then laugh at their impotent threats.
