If anything it would have to be a movie/movies! It would all depend on the cast and the size of budget though! If they were going to half arse it with a crappy cast and small budget then there would be no point! I also think the idea of a tv series would ruin it as it would end up a cheap knock up which was made too fast with a horrible cast (e.g defiance, which would also of been far better as a movie in my eyes) If they managed to do it on the scale of the lord of the rings for example then I'm all for it! Although I think it would be a long time away if at all!

I wouldn't disregard a TV series just yet, I agree defiance missed it but that was a collaboration on the studios part to release them together. A better example would be to use Halo with Spielberg's new series that's coming out...sometimes when a world is brought to life that's full of history and landscapes a 2 hr movie just won't cut it. TV let's you spread the love across weeks and months. But hey, that's just my opinion, what do I know?

I agree with what your trying to say and of course your entitled to your own opinion! I just think a movie would be better in my opinion. And if the story was to great to fit into one film (which it most likely is) then I'd be even happier with a few! Not heard much about the Spielberg series when is it expected to air?

No release date on the halo series but it was announced at the unveiling of the Xbox One.

Yeah but then you have to consider Hollywoods track record for video game based movies. Which include Super Mario Bros. Doom, Bloodrayne, and the current favorite for them Resident Evil. These movies make me think of the early years of comic book movies where they would rarely stick with the story, bad/funny actors, or are just stupid/over the top. What the VG genre of movies need is one director who will respect the source material and honor the gaming community with a great adaptation of a video game. If they could find that director then I'm sure that there could be a huge boom for great VG movies.

Hitman was a great game to movie adaptation, I thought.

Eh, I give it a 6/10 which is a pretty average movie to me. It was ok.
