No. I don't want races to have bonuses.
EDIT: I don't want to worry about the bonuses when I pick my race. If I want to be a human I wouldn't want the bonuses of being a exo to get in the way.

Because... (Your opinion is valued, I like hearing the different reasons)

I don't want to pick a race I don't like just because it has a bonus. I want to look the way that I want. I don't want bonuses to get in the way of that.

Couldn't the same be said about class?
-
Any class can wear any armor.
-
But they would not have the same abilities, and that armor might help the class it belongs to more so than the class you chose.
-
that armor might help the class it belongs to more so than the class you chose.
You just guessed. I can have a hunter with titan armor, and still have hunter abilities.
-
Sine loot drops are personal and private.. I believe you'd only see hunter armor drop if you choose to play hunter.

I didn't guess, there have been interviews and article that have said that the armor will affect the player, which at the very core of those statements means an armor rating will be tacked-on to the item, and at most the items themselves may have some class enhancing stuff. You can still have your abilities, of course, but how effective would you be, much like choosing a race with abilities geared towards each class, like I stated?
-
Actually there have been interviews where they were ASKED how the armor will affect the player, but bungie has never said anything about the armor helping the class it belongs to.

Actually if you notice from the e3 gameplay the warlock was using a machine gun said to be an item the Titan specializes in, but the warlock also had a Titan armband equipped. The warlock is also seen to be wearing a warlock "pattern". It is my theory that any class can wield any ability based of whatever pattern they choose to equip and any class can utilize the specialization of the other classes by wearing their class specific armband/class item. With these two considerations your character gains the ability to have whatever skills/abilities you choose. This would effectively make class and race aesthetic choices. I believe this is what Bungie is hinting at when they say your character is customizable and you shouldn't have to regret anything later on - because you can always swap out those skill/ability items.
-
I just made up that comment. I wanted to play mind games.
-
Like I said, at the very least, it's an armor rating. It's not cosmetic.
Actually there have been interviews where they were ASKED how the armor will affect the player, but bungie has never said anything about the armor helping the class it belongs to.
I made that up. I wanted to see if you would try to prove me wrong, but honestly I know that armor has armor rating. I just don't want races to have bonuses that is just want I think. I just think it shouldn't be there. Btw, which interview mentioned armor adding bonuses to specific classes?
