And all things video game related, I've spent too many years of my youth on this site and on video games in general. It's time for me to grow up and get my life in order and in order and for me to do that I have to stop wasting my time on this site and on video games. As much I love them, they have literally ruined the past 6 years of my life because I don't know what moderation is, I spent too much time on my gaming "life" than I have on my real life. My social life has gone down the drain and so has my education, so I'm doing the smart thing and quitting and getting my life in order.
Good bye B.net it was nice knowing you guys <3

It can be difficult trying to balance your real social life with the things you enjoy doing, such as gaming or browsing forums ect. I'm not sure how I manage but I do. I personally get bored quickly so after about 30 minutes on a website's forum i'll move on and do something else. On my Xbox i'll play a few games and then go and do something else. You get the idea. I think it's just knowing when to stop and say no, i'll do this or that instead. That my friend, is the power and will to control. ..either that or I could just be rambling mad ;)

Edited by B3ar: 5/14/2013 8:21:59 PMThe true skill is getting your life in order while still being able to do what you enjoy. By giving up videogames entirely you realistically havent learned moderation. However if your education was going down the drain because of videogames then Id say give it up because that means you have an addiction. If you come home, finish your homework, and monday to thursday you game after that thats fine. Then you have your social life on the weekend. Thats true moderation and if others here dont do that then I encourage you to do so. You'll be much happier once you achieve that balance

Don't be afraid to stop by once in a while! Like you said, moderation. Doesn't mean you have to go cold turkey. You do what you want though man. Good luck with your life. Still sad to see another long time member leave though... Either way, don't be afraid to stop in once in a while. I'll still be here.

Well, at least you know what the problem is. It isn't the games, it is moderation. If you feel like this is the best course, then best luck in life.
