But I like spending money to be better unfairly...

Please Bungie. Please. I beg you. Do NOT allow any kind of microtransactions in the game. Please. The game should be made with care for the community not how much you can rake out of their pocket. Microtransactions have always ruined games. They screw up the economy of the game to an extent that I can't even begin to explain. Whose with me? And please reply to this thread so that the community can have attention brought to the matter for those of us who feel this way about microtransactions. Update: These are the views that I have seen from people so far- -
Aesthetic Changing Micro-transactions: Okay Gameplay Changing Micro-transactions: Bad
-They can be used to unlock higher level items that can still be attained with in game currency but using microtransactions will reduce the amount of time needed to unlock them -Using them could reduce the price of the game/take away a subscription fee -The transactions could kill the economy if used improperly - They could make players that do not use them feel less important/ unique in their own way, which is a big thing that Bungie has said that they care about. -Many people do not think that Bungie will do this to us, as they see the bad things about microtransactions -What is the point of having them if you can just make everything feel much more rewarding by just making it all in game or come out with the DLC? Well that's all I got from this so far. More updates to come if the thread does not die. • Micro transactions can be bad for a game if they: -Discriminate non-paying players (Blocked areas, blocked functions, blocked clans/guilds creations) -Give better weapons/armor/equipment that you can't get in-game with hard work (Pay to win) -Don't allow a minimum of character customization (Like War Frame game... U have to buy some extra paint palettes but u can customize your character to some extend... this is good... :) ) If micro transactions are going to be used (And i'm pretty sure they will) the stuff sold with them should be primarily aesthetic and premium secondary items... (Like in mmo's pets and stuff like that). Now... if I understand a bit about the game... its a shooter with some MMOs social capabilities... like fighting/exploring along side your friends and meet people you haven't met before... If this is true then DLC you have to pay won't do that much good... cause if you don't have the money at the moment... you can't keep enjoying with your pals online... nor meeting new people... and having trouble even with events on those places... I guess that's the same reason why MMOs make everyone have the same content on their pcs... sync for the best possible experience... And of course... if the game is going to be that huge.... would be sad not being able to fully enjoy the exploration part of the game to its fullest... What do you guys think?
