pvp is okay but bungie you can seperate the 2. ruined my renewal grasps build upon getting the exotic and never got to use them, better off now with fr0st-EE5 because a faster grenade is better against champions.
You can get your grenade back in under 20 seconds and it provides the highest possible damage resistance and a massive radius.

They give Resist x3 with the extra from a Fragment, but Omnioculus gives x4. How’s it feel being so wrong?
They give Resist x3 with the extra from a Fragment, but Omnioculus gives x4. How’s it feel being so wrong?
Renewal grasps applies a debuff to enemies inside of it that reduces the damage they deal by 50%. The enemy is dealing half damage to you on top of your damage resistance.

Sure, but that requires being in shotgun/fusion range, and shotties often still OHK and fusions pretty much always will. I got the gloves a few days ago, made a build, went into Crucible for a few hours, vaulted the gloves. They suck.

With the resilience changes, at 10 resilience you basically cannot die while in your dusk field. Very strong for something you can have in under 20 seconds. Pvp wise, they don’t make you immortal like they did prenerf. Used to total up to 67% damage resistance, which was far too much. Now it’s closer to 40%. Still quite the advantage in a fight.

Enough to win most evenly matched 1v1s, not enough to survive anything Special Ammo (except glaives ofc, but they don’t OHK at all). And you can have constant healing that gives essentially immortality in PVE for Titans, why can’t Hunters have some PVE beefiness?

Hunters don't need beef, we need more cheese.

Edited by Xero: 7/2/2022 2:55:49 PMNo, no, no. Hold on. Hunters HAVE the Cheese. Titans have Beef with them anyways. Warlocks? Well they have Wine for everything, so it's no surprise. Now if they could just: "Come together...right now, and form a Fireteam" - then that would be a delightful dinner service. Need some greens though, probably invite Saladin. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I now understand the vision for these classes thanks to you

It just won’t give you a free win in every fight like it used to. Hunters do have “PVE beefiness”. That’s literally what these gauntlets do. You get 40% damage resistance from 10 resil. 40% from the resist x3 and 50% less damage output from enemies. You will take nearly no damage from all enemies. Some won’t even be able to damage you. Add a glaive shield on top for an extra 97.5% damage resistance and no enemy will be able to damage you. This ability can cooldown in under 20 seconds as well.

You also forgot resist mods which if you do all three elements is what another 10 or 20% against all the elements
