Seasonal Class Item mods, too. It's so stupid that we can't build some fun combos because they're costing 6 with most of them. It should never be more than 5 and, even then, I still say that's too high. But, it's Bungie.. It's Destiny 2... You're not supposed to build fun loadouts. You're supposed to build minimal loadouts so you don't do things too quickly. Gotta keep those play-time numbers up, after all. EDIT: Took me a while to realize I didn't write "can't build" originally. I'm so damn tired after grinding for Vex. lol

  • I think the problem lies in with thing that are absurdly broken already so it makes sense why they cost so much. Things like Breech and Clear, Particle Deconstruction, Classy Restoration, thunder coil, oppressive Darkness all very busted and game defining things should be higher priced as they generate huge benifits for it all. But id say things that dont really do much without help from other mods definatly much lower.

  • The cost itself is fine if higher level gears like raid armor having higher capacity, giving sense of progression from world drops with low capacity to high level drops with higher capacity

  • What it sounds like you're saying is what I said but with extra steps. Instead of just lowering the cost of the mods, you want to keep them the same but have new armors have extra energy to allow for higher-cost mods. Which would also cost more to level up to allow those mods. Most people kinda already hate how many resources it takes just to bring armors up to 10 energy so I can't imagine how much more costly Bungie would make them past that.

  • Make it start really high then, what reason raid armor doesn't have 20 capacity and drop at maximum? But well, it's bungie we're talking about, lowering the cost may result the mod being far weaker

  • The other problem is that would, essentially, sunset gear again. Having another other armor prior to an update where you can get more energy and use more mods would be trivial. Much like with the weapons now. Yes, you can still use them but they don't have intrinsic perks. Minor, I know, but it still did made them less useful overall. I think even the new Dungeon has started sunsetting armor again. It does, or can, drop with an extra mod slot for Seasonal Mods which makes all other armors far less useful. This will likely be an update that comes to all armors down the road and will sunset all previous armors without actually having to say they're "being sunset." I'm not saying I have a problem with your idea, per say. It's just that in the current landscape of this game, it wouldn't work without working against the players, as a whole. Whereas my idea is to just change a number from a 6 to a 4. Haha!
