P2P connection was never a good feat in crucible, and with crossplay got even worse.
PvP in Destiny is a frustrating joke mainly because of this, the worst connection you got, the better you can perform because you hit your enemies before they notice you.
It's absurd that a game with the number of daily active players as Destiny has can't have dedicated servers at least for PvP, that seems just cheap.
And I'm not going to talk about weapon balance, because the dev team can't care less about it, and prove to that is the ridiculous submachine gun/pulse rifle meta (please dev team, use your contacts and get yourselves to a shooting range if you can't afford a weapons experts on your team), but please, improve our game experience by giving us dedicated servers.
The way to easily lengthen the life of any FPS is trough PvP, a decent to good PvP can get you years of loyal players with minimum of effort and investment (proof to that is that there's still a lot of people playing the CoD: Modern Warfare Remaster), with 8 years from Destiny's first launch, it's about time you understand that.

6 RepliesBungie is an extremely greedy POS company. They are not the people who made Halo. They know their networking is literally the worst in all of gaming right now and don't care because it's dirt cheap. They know their matchmaking system and game engine is completely rigged garbage designed to force outcomes in fights and matches overall. But it's dirt cheap and allows them to target whales and prime the pump (wallet). We deserve dedicated servers. It would improve the game immeasurably. It wouldn't cost much, a drop in the bucket relative to their yearly profits. But they are bottom feeding, money grubbing little gremlins. So we have the worst p2p laggy dogsht ever made for pvp instead.
