The "servers are not available" message indicates that you are experiencing connection issues of some kind that is happening between you and Destiny 2. This may be an ISP issue.
Below are suggestions to help resolve the issue:
1. A wired connection is recommended to play Destiny, and if your connection is being used for other things when playing the game, such as streaming, it's recommended to quit those programs.

Edited by Cast-Steel: 6/10/2022 2:00:25 AMIndeed, all this week i keep randomly getting "Contacting Destiny 2 Servers" in the middle of, well, everything! and / or disconnected from game world! But i have no problem what so ever playing Elden Ring, SWTOR, Borderlands 2 and 3, and Warframe. the problem seems to be on Bungies Servers! Also my DIM app (Destiny inventory manager) has given me errors several times stating that Destiny 2's Servers are SLOW and / or taking an inordinate amount of time to respond! its just more proof that whatever this problem is it is on Bungies end!!! Bungie? hello? are you listening?

Edited by Tyger Strayfire: 6/6/2022 3:35:42 AMI’ve done plenty of cashe clearing on my end already with my PS4 and router. I have a wired connection. I’m still getting the “Destiny 2 Servers are not available.” Notification. This seems to be on Bungie’s end.

I'm also having same issue and no ISP issues. I'm playing a different live service game as we speak

No issues on my end. Looks like it's on Destiny's side.
