Glaive melees also deal more damage per hit than a normal melee (pve) as well as being faster, which mainly why I think they currently don’t have any direct synergies.

The problem is you can just put on the Synthoceps and punch significantly harder than a Glaive while using a weapon that is actually good. That way you benefit from both the weapon and melee synergies without having the mods that are making your weapon viable disappear at the end of the season.

But in that situation you have to put on a specific exotic to make a base melee stronger than glaive strikes, where as it is now, because they are separated, you can use glaive strikes as an enhanced form of “melee damage” while also using a different exotic. I’d rather they find a way to increase synergies within the glaive itself to amplify glaive melee usage.
