So long as I get my loot, I'm fine.
I personally despise Raid Report and the idea of anyone looking into my stars in general. It's judging a book by cover. I could care less about clears. So long as I follow oders and do my part in a raidvand get rewarded. Everything else is secondary. Or lesser.

Raid Report is great to call out liars

It's also a great means of gate keeping. Do you have any idea how many raids on LFG read Riven Cheese KWTD Bring Lament Have 10 Clears Will check RR I haven't been able to do a Last Wish Raid for a long while. I joined a clan who instead taught me slowly how everything worked and what the callouts were. I taught others. Whether you believe it or not the Raid community is filled with gatekeepers who only want experienced players. Sure we have lazy players who want to be carried and players who don't learn but when you deny them why do you think they act like that? In D1 I spent hours in my clan teaching blueberries Vault of Glass. Crota, Prison. Everything. Because I believe making them learn would mitigate gatekeepers. I sure as hell won't sweat for PvE. I will have fun. I will get my loot and call it a day. But I will not be denied because my clears never read because of faulty programming.

I never denied raids have gatekeepers. What I’m saying is that you shouldn’t devalue the usefulness of raid report. If someone claims they “KWTD” yet constantly mess up, imma check their clears and if they have none, imma call them out right then and there. It feels SO GOOD to call out liars with API tracking apps.

Edited by Kestrel: 4/6/2022 2:26:26 AMI don't do that. I teach them. I correct them. On the spot and on the go. People learn better in trials by fire. I did. Still do. Hands on always works. I never give up on a random. Simply because it's tedious to replace them.and hope the next fella knows what he's doing or is upfront about not knowing. When you fill your plug in pool with more people who learn you get a better and vibrant player base. I've played in five raids in the previous two weeks with People who treat raiding as second nature. They also taught me a thing or two. I like that. But I do not go sniffing a person up or down. It's rude and makes me out to be a snob. I ain't no snob. Like some people.

Oh I do. When necessary. But two out of three times I prefer joining. There are expectations for those who form teams and Id prefer not to lead after work.
