On Bungie.net have you looked at the accounts of those offering "paid services"...
You will notice that in 95% of cases these accounts offing paid services are new with hardly any play history and a single character which is not able to do the offered carry.
This is because it is a disposable account created only to advise on Bungie.net. Most of the people offering paid services go through multiple accounts a day as the Ninjas first issue a warning then ban accounts for breach of the forum code of conduct.
Bungie has no control over third party sites and to take action takes long and costly legal action. Bungie has done this in the past and may have current court action in progress. However as these people can easily disband and reform under a new "company" they don't care.

This is all true, but the problem is that the sane account will post these all day for multiple days on end. I'm on their a lot and see the same account post the same lfg group every 5 minutes literally all day for more than 1 day. I understand their are a lot of things to look at, but this is ridiculous. The user accounts can make posts that often for that long before anything is done so of course they continue happening. There is also no reason there can't be a filter to not allow any posts that say "paid", list the web site names we all know, etc.

No it is worth reporting them... to protect other players. Reporting them helps the Ninjas and they will remove the posts. This stops people with more money than common sense taking them up on their offers. Also those offering paid services are some of the biggest cheaters. They only care about taking your money and to get that "guaranteed" they cheat. As profiting from a cheater is a ban offence you help stop people getting banned.

In the report options go for solicitation. Same goes for those who say they are willing to pay for a carry/recovery.
