Titans aren’t built to stay alive in PvP.

I’ve been a exclusive Titan main since D1 so this is a little painful to say, but compared to Hunters and Warlocks, Titans multi-engagement survivability is lack luster to say the least. I recently tried out Graviton Forfeit on Hunter with Arby (I know I’m sorry) and I was amazed. It was like upgrading from dollar bin crayons to high end art supplies. Everything is sooo much easier on Hunter. If I had to describe what playing a Hunter felt like in one word, it would have to be “clean”. Who needs resilience when you’re able to either instantly dodge out of a gun fight or straight up go invisible on command. The thing is that Titan’s kits don’t benefit from playing passively like other subclasses do. Almost all of our kits require playing aggressively. Also, even after the shoulder charge nerf/buff (which I love), Titans general lack of mobility is holding the skill ceiling pretty low when compared to Hunters. Over shields can only go so far. I know that twilight garrison is a meme now, but if Titans are ever going to be as effective in PvP as the other classes, more mobility exotics and neutral game focused subclasses going to be required.
I’m not giving up on Titan tho.
Edit: forgot to mention that my perspective comes from being a solo player. Also, I know that it’s part of a titans identity to be as tanky as possible, but it seems that every time we get something that gives us a noticeable resilience buff (i.e., Behemoth, Antaeus wards, etc.) it quickly becomes meta defining. Just my opinion tho.
