This has been an issue I've had with Destiny 2 since launch.
It's not about flinch, or camera shake, or border effects from things like Stasis or Supers - it's about the tremendous amount of bloom and blinding light in almost effect in the game, and multiple maps, like Altar of Flame or Distant Shore.
I'm more scared of grenades for the fact that I can't see with the flash more than I am the actual damage. Not to mention all explosive bullet effects like Sunshot or Timed Payload - there's no "just adapt to it", I am blinded every time someone with those so much as clips me.
Not to mention the extreme bloom on any crucible map that includes the sun - if an enemy has their back to that light effect, it becomes many times more difficult to tell where they are, because you are staring directly into a flashlight - this is especially obvious when trying to push from C to B on Altar of Flame.
Please. I just want visual effects like these toned down. They are actively detrimental to how me and many people I know enjoy the game. I love playing it, and I can't stop, but it does get pretty unbearable when I can't even tell what's going on.
As a side note, maybe add an option for reduced notification size? As in, season rank and completed triumphs. They take up a big portion of the screen and linger for a while, and though I do like how they look, it would be much nicer if they were about the size of collected engrams/armor/weapons, and not in the center of the screen.
