Gambit was such a cool mode as it joined the Destiny Universe and now it's pretty much dead, at least in MY experience, and pretty much a sweat festival for heavy ammo.. People that are just blessed with luck to get almost nonstop heavy ammo for their tracking rocket launcher or xenophage will rip you apart 99% of times just because how stupidly easy it is to use.
How about we tone the heavy usage down to a certain degree? Make it so that enemies don't drop any heavy so you have only the ammo box every now and then, making you think twice if you want to use it for invading now or if you want to take it and keep it for the boss later on. Even if it will be used for invading, it is usually FAR less ammo than what people get by being blessed with some luck to have easily enough Xenophage ammo for 10 quad kill invasions.

I typically dont invade, so i leave the ammo spawn for the invader. I typically worry about killing ads quickly so we can move zone to zone. Killing invaders quickly with a sniper or Malfeasance or tracking rocket or Jotunn (killing invaders is one of my favorite things to do in Destiny). Its typically a winning strategy. FYI, i mostly solo queue too. Its weird, i can beat teams of four as a solo (maybe 50/50), but when i'm in a team of 4, i seem to lose more. LOL. I think they match my team with 4 Sweet Lew's. They did nerf heavy economy.... No more taken heavy mods. Less ammo per spawn.
