Ayo why on earth are the PvE hunters so underwhelming, especially the raid builds. Celestial Nighthawk has fallen off for Star Eater which only do 100k extra dmg over nighthawk IF you have 8 feasts of light and "Knock Em Down" buff activated, which is understandable but it needs setup to work before dps.
Tether is absolutely irrelevant, and the only nice thing going on right now is that you can cast multiple blade barrages with Shards of Galanor IF you have anarchy/witherhoard WITH breach and clear and THAT only works on Atheon so its propably a bug that might get patched too..
Like why not just nerf the pvp variations of hunters already and give em some more PvE love. The shadowkeep solar buffs were amazing but with the value of geomag for warlocks and Cuirass for titans we cant compete to make the best value in a raid, any raid party would gladly replace a golden gun hunter for a cuirass titan or geo warlock for dps and you cant blame them its just better. Cant we have some sort of adjustements for the hunters? Like make knock em down and Celestial stack for a moderate buff? Or shards of galanor actually work as they do in Atheon but in a not so broken gamebreaking way? or maybe Tether instead of debuffing the targets, actually multiplying the dmg you deal in tethered targets without cancelling Well or Bubble buffs? All i say is yes these changes would sound broken on paper but id be down if they were some tweaks to make hunter not the PvP bait monkey jumping class and give em some value for pve.
Omnioculous last season is a great example since its actually amazing but thing is it mostly makes value for nightfalls (But 6th coyote could already do the same thing a bit harder)

Raid bosses for the most part have 2x crit multipliers, which Celestial takes advantage of and Falling Star cannot do crit damage.
