Happened to me as well. I had been using wifi at the time of ban and I have now hardwired my ps4 and my connection is more stable now. Bungie has still not responded to my 2 week old ban appeal.

  • As covered in the games terms and conditions and repeated on the appeal form Bungie does not have to reply. Just because you said you sorted out the issue is not full cause to allow you back in straight away (in fact you should have fixed things when you got the warning). You just have to wait it out and do a double check that things have been sorted before stepping into the Crucible or Gambit again.

  • I did fix them when I recieved the warning. The game seems to work fine on my end. All other games on my playstation work perfectly, even ones with bigger servers than Destiny. I understand why I was banned in the first place, but I think I have improved my connection enough to warrant a ban removal. If the issues persist in Crucible and Gambit, I will only stay in them long enough to complete my Born in Darkness Part 3 quest, as well as maybe a few private matches with my friends.

  • 1. "My Other games work fine" is not a test of your Internet quality. All games are different with D2 falling into the high quality Internet category. Only a full Internet diagnostic will do from your console. 2. Consoles use a P2P host system with servers only used for save data and matching. Bungie plans to insert a cloud server system like the PC uses but that is not to run the game but as a security measure to stop Ddoss attacks.

  • Also why does the ban count for private matches?
