I also had the same issue. I am on their most expensive plan that is available for me. My download speeds were decent. It was my upload bandwidth that was causing all of my issues. I took my modem to an Xfinity store and got a new one. This was also after a tech came out and checked everything out. I was also not having any other issues as everything else we do is download dependent only. I haven't gotten an error since.

Also was this recently? Because there was an xfinity modem issue a while ago and I don’t have one of those modems on the listed issue ones

  • I had exhausted everything else. I got new cables, as I run wired to the modem, but also for the SSDs. Cleared caches, reset network equipment, and even did a complete reinstall. After the tech came out and said everything seemed okay, but the problem persisted, I had had enough. I just took it to the store and got another one. I surely couldn't say if you're experiencing the same issue. I just know I was at the end of my patience, and it worked out for me.

  • When you say you got another one did you go back to isp or did you buy a new router from a store? Did you get the same model modem as before or a different model modem?

Were you getting the same error codes? Baboon, Anteater, Bat?

  • It was Baboon after Baboon, all the time. If your Xbox is reporting 1K down and 30 up, then it certainly shouldn't be the ISP, that's true.

  • Prior to the new modem, I was at 300 down and about 4 up, on a decent day. Now I am 600 down and 30 up. I'm on an Xbox One X currently, and running Destiny alone from an external SSD. It was very recent... a couple of weeks now.

  • What ISP? What modem model did you have vs the new one?
