I don’t know what to tell you. They don’t openly discuss bans. You can submit an appeal but I’m fairly confident something you were doing whether you knew it was malicious or not got you banned.
There are things you can do that seem harmless but are still against tos like cheat software from any game.
I’d maybe start there.
But you may not get the results you are looking for because thems the breaks, dude.

its just even from my past games one could see i more than likely wasnt doing anything bad, also since ive put a fair bit of money into the game and for it all to be taken away by something i don't even know about just sucks you know?

Time played is irrelevant. Money spent is irrelevant. Bungie treats all players veteran or new starter the same. Start by looking into what was active on your PC at the time. Bungie warned everyone not to... Have active cheats for ANY game while playing D2. Not to have active programming tools. Not to use network manipulation including network accelerators. Also you may not be cheating but if you played with someone who was for a length of time you can be done for profiting from cheating.

Honestly, I’ve never seen someone start something cheating. They just begin cheating at some point. So past history isn’t something people can hold on to as a reliable alibi.

I mean even like my most recent games, i had 4 kills and a 0.67 then i got pretty much smashed in trials last weekend. If I was to have any cheats there would atleast be a big spike in like 1 or 2 occasional games right?

I was max rank in reach and had my rank demoted all the way back to recruit (or whatever the FIRST rank was) i was told by bungie that i was exploiting the game to increase my exp, i was unemployed and had considerable savings, not cheating. Logic and facts didn't matter then, i doubt they matter now unfortunately.
