Wormhusk doesnt regen.
You get a 50 health bump when you dodge.
And dodge doesnt break aim assist after they removed that in season 2.
Wormhusk doesnt regen. You get a 50 health bump when you dodge. And dodge doesnt break aim assist after they removed that in season 2.
I understand it's a bump to health. Does it not break aim when you're invis? Used in tandem with a Wormhusk with the eventual ability to slow your pursuer is cheesy. A bump or regen.

No. Invis and dodge removed aim assist at launch. They removed that AAAAL the way back in season 2. Dodge now only reloads your gun or melee....and invis only removes you from radar and makes you slightly harder to see.
-
Well even without aim break, a slowing effect from an invis Hunter who lost his engagement and heals himself is going to insight people to continue to complain about the Hunter ability and the frequency it is used. That's my concern. When the effect of an Exotic is already powerful, the addition of the new system should take into consideration the builds it instigates.

Slowing doesnt mean you do less damage. It only slows movement...not looking around speed. Just keep shooting the dodging hunter and you will win 100% of the time....wormhusk only heals by 50...that is 1 HC headshot or 3 auto bodyshots. Dodge animation is 2 seconds...you can litterally kill a hunter from full health during the dodge animation 2x with any 600RPM auto...even if they heal with wormhusk.

It does infact slow handling and accuracy. Read today's twab

I snipe people dodge rolling. I think you're missing the point behind the post.

You mean the mobility reduction part. Sure ill agree to that. Everything should be balanced. Huge buffs should cause negatives in other areas of your character. They should do that with armor 2.0 too. (You can pick a mastework that gives + 15 to a stat of your choosing ...or divide it between stats...but you lose 5 in another stat of your choosing.) With that you can also do + 15 in a stat and then +5 in the same stat to end at + 10 to that stat if you dont want to lose another stat.
-
That's a very interesting idea. And it would help the people that can't endlessly grind for new stat distributions.
-
Been farming for a strength /discipline armor for a year now. Still nothing that has both 😭 All i have is 100 recovery/100 intellect armors and 100 discipline armors where the rest is bad.
-
I have to eliminate 40 strength points and have them distributed into dis and intel while maintaining other stat values. It will never happen :/
-
We should get armsday back from D1. And at the same time...add armor day. Pick and order with 1 stat that will always be above 20. Wait for a weekly roll you want and get that.

Apply for a job at Bungie. Work from home. Lol I'd take one. I play this a lot.

I thought it broke aim assist at the beginning of the dodge still, and when the game release aim assist was broken throughout the entire dodge.

That's was my understanding as well, but he seems rather adamant. Either way, thats the most minor aspect of the concern I am raising. In its base form dodge is fine and an important staple. With invis on dodge and worm husk it already pushed the bar. With battery it was a complete and obvious crutch. With aspects and fragments, the conversation is going to become, "are dodges too frequent?" Which they are not... But its like rewarding a Titan using Oem or Antaeus. We make these exotics that reward you for doing what you were already doing, far to effective. Once we add 3 extra effects...

Dodge with the return on the melee to get the shurikens back that freeze slowed targets was it? Plus the dodge can slow if attuned, plus a potential exotic. Powerful, I still have my questions about the melee like do they bounce toward targets like sentinel shields or bounce in a trajectory like knives. Either way if the main focus of your build is dodge, then it should be powerful. I think people are forgetting dune marches is it. Sprinting build up a static charge that can chain lightning to targets within 20 meters. The new titan melee launches you and freezes or slows nearby targets (slows I think) then chain the lightning to them. How’s that going to work out.
