so what you're saying is you hate getting killed by gnawing hunger and the occasional suros regime?
also HCs are way easier to use then autos with the game doing most of the behind the curtain stuff for you like AA and bullet magnetism
but I think the main issue with pvp rn is everyone is trying to get all guns to be low TTK and make Destiny 2 pvp look more like advanced warfare

Exactly what I’ve been saying. I soloed my way to Legend rank this season and some game I had to put my Gnawing Hunger away because I was getting destroyed y Lunas or The Last Word. Had to use Cold Denial and stay further out. There’s YouTube vids where players demonstrate bullet magnetism shooting like a foot to the right or left of a players head at 30m and they still get counted as a headshot. Besides that player who stay close to cover can peak shoot or players who are really fast and can hit shots while moving will absolutely wreck your favorite God rolled Gnawing Hunger.

While handcannons aren't hard to aim for a longtime gamer, auto rifles are still significantly easier to use.

Well what he’s saying is proven on YouTube. Streamers have demonstrated by putting a player at 30m and aiming to the right or left of the head and still counting as a headshot. Autos don’t do that. If players run out in the open and get mowed down by an auto than it’s the players fault not the guns.

Saying that autos dont have bullet mag is just a showcasing of bias. No arguments from me. Carey on.

Never said autos don’t have bullet magnetism. I said hand canons have way more bullet magnetism than autos. So sick of repeating this dumb argument. This has already been proven and displayed on YouTube. Autos spray and hand canons are precision. Anyone that has a problem with auto rifles is a player issue not a weapon issue. There’s waaay too many players in comp that have zero issues shutting down any auto with any number of hand canons because they know how to play the maps, they know map awareness and watch the where the other team is going. I think some of the mods might be the problem. If I’m in comp and get a game where it’s a bunch of noobs running around spraying gnawing hunger all over I put on a pulse rifle and keep my distance and use my smg, fusion or side arm if they get close. To me mountain top spamming and shotgun camping are far more annoying.

You literally said "autos dont do that" when discussing bullet magnetism. "I'm TiReD" be more clear in your statements and maybe you wont cause misconceptions and then wont have to go on a useless ramble that doesn't add anything.

Edited by XxSkull FistxX: 9/9/2020 5:22:18 AMUseless is a word I would use to describe players that can’t figure out how to actually play PvP and instead run straight at the opposing team and get mowed down by auto rifles which is exactly what they’re supposed to do and then get on the forums and cry nerf. What I said was hand canons have strong bullet magnetism and was shown exactly what they do on YouTube and autos don’t have that. I’m sure they have some but your not getting crit shots aiming a foot to the right or left of the head at 30m while hand canons do that. Autos don’t need a nerf because they’re as equal as 150 hand canons. Hand canons are precision 3 crit shots to kill while autos spray. They each do the same thing just do it differently. Complaint about autos when hand canon users have the last word that has a faster trip than a God rolled Gnawing Hunger and stupid range.
-
You are obviously not knowledgeable about console players because your statement is 100% false.
-
Hand cannons are not easier to use than autos. Both of them do those things, but autos kill faster and are way more forgiving and easy to use, which is my point. Thats shouldn't be the case. And Suros and Gnawing are everywhere, not even remotely occasional. I feel like the main issue it the fact that its all about what you use, not how good you are.
-
The Last Word has a .5 ttk my man. That’s faster than any gnawing hunger. And hand canons have way more bullet magnetism than autos and you only need 3 shots, autos spray. I play mostly comp on Xbox and I see way more Lunas and Last Word than Gnawing Hunger or Suros. Both weapons are equal in meta they just play very different. Hand canons were meta for 2ish years and didn’t matter if you stay d back or ran in the open your dead. Now that 600rpm got buffed it stopped hand canon users from winning every gun fight out in the open. Now they are better played near cover or peaking while autos are better defending open areas.

Edited by Bidi: 9/6/2020 5:07:21 PMIt only has a faster TTK in close-range hitting all headshots, which doesn't happen consistently. There are no mod slots, the cylinder is tiny, it has basically no range, in-air accuracy is pure dog shit and it uses an Exotic slot. You also pretty much HAVE to pair it with a sniper to have any long-range capabilities. Gnawing Hunger can EASILY roll with perks that make it poke out into 36 meters and still be competitive. We're talking about CONSISTENT performance, not theoretical performance. Last Word doesn't keep up in day-to-day PvP.
-
I’ve been killed by last word from pretty far out. Pretty sure True Vanguard just made a vid not too long ago and showed the range and ttk are ridiculous from pretty good range and he plays on PlayStation. I think he even went as far to say it’s more meta than 600rpm autos and it pretty much a noob weapon.

TV tends to talk out of his ass because he's a top player on console. It doesn't mean much when you can literally look up the stats for the weapon, including kill range, aim assist, and usage.

There's obviously just a skill gap between us
