I love your handcannon “pros”
You seem to have left out, high aim assist, high bullet magnetism, low recoil, very forgiving....

High aim assist is every primary in destiny 2, so no. High bullet magnetism, same thing, every gun. Low recoil, no hand cannons have high recoil, its just irrelevant because we're on pc. Forgiving? heck no, If you miss a shot you're dead, especially because you're probably dead if you don't miss, you know, since autos have the highest TTKs for some reason. So I stand by what I said, Handcannons have zero advantage over autos Hence the no pros.

Not really no. to win against an autorifle they have to be really bad and you cant mess up.
Not really no. to win against an autorifle they have to be really bad and you cant mess up.
You can also peak shot from cover and win against an AR user and they can’t do anything about it

In that one situation where you get the first shot and have full health and have cover and the person isnt waiting for you, yeah sure.
In that one situation where you get the first shot and have full health and have cover and the person isnt waiting for you, yeah sure.
Actually you’re describing an AR vs AR battle. With HCs you can use cover to break their TTK and maintain yours. It’s an expression of skill.

You can do that with autos too. Positioning and movement dont have anything to do with the gun you use.
You can do that with autos too. Positioning and movement dont have anything to do with the gun you use.
ARs require sustained crits without interruption to get a low TTK, HCs can be used for peek shooting and still get their optimal TTK. The time when you’re in cover before peeking is time where an AR can’t hose your head, while you’re still hitting optimal TTK. Of course positioning and movement have to do with what gun you use. Have you ever tried using a shotgun before?

ARs require reasonably semi uninterrupted hits for a good kd also what i meant is your skill level in movement isn't defined by the weapon you use.
ARs require reasonably semi uninterrupted hits for a good kd also what i meant is your skill level in movement isn't defined by the weapon you use.
No one said it was. Your skill level in movement does define your ability to win engagements with any weapon against any weapon. ARs are a popular weapon, not a dominate one everyone is being showered in gnawing hungers so everyone has access to a good one. In a PvP mode where diversity is defined by RNG loot drops the best most available weapon will always be the most popular, but that doesn’t make it powerful. The YEARS where hand cannons were the best weapon type they were extremely easy to use and therefore the most. It’s been two seasons of ARs taking their place. Instead of begging for nerfs just adapt to the new meta.
