Think it should be more of make the loot accessible to everyone but everyone can’t get flawless. Also need special rewards for flawless like ships, ornaments (weapons and armour), shaders, emblems etc.
Have tokens stay more than the weekend. Give the 1st flawless of the week per account a guaranteed Adept piece and have it Masterworked and/or Curated roll.
Random roll adept piece for the week can be bought with tokens, but have the token cost a bit high. Say at least 500. A crap player might have to hold on to token for weeks waiting for the adept item they want to come around and also play way to many game compared to the good and great people to earn each purchase. Top players can easily chase god rolls from all the tokens they pull in playing.
The casuals have to put in the work to scape together enough token to maybe get 1 item a week or every other week. Or hold onto them tokens and pray they get a good roll on the 1 item they want when it comes around while top players collect everything, god rolls, ornaments, fancy ships etc.
Heck even be able to buy shards, prisms, shards with the tokens as well. ( do that for regular crucible as well even)

Naw just make base trials guns and armor have a small chance to drop after every game, increasing the percentage as you climb up the card, with a flawless awarding an adept weapon 9r high chance of 1. Adepts shouldn't be purchasable.
