Quit giving it attention, so it can completely die and be removed again. 2nd time its failed in d2. Been on life support for most of it.

  • I hear you on this. Thing is I actually think it's a good mode as a concept anyways. It's thrilling to go in on a fresh card and emerge victorious and fly into the LH. What I don't like is that, for the majority of players, the only way to experience that is through carries, either god tier friends or paid. If bungie put some effort into improving the inclusivity of the mode while still keeping it's 7w tournament core untouched it would be well received by a significant portion of the community. And for the streamers, who would suddenly be facing competition equal to themselves, they'd actually EARN their LH and their streams would be FAR more exciting to watch (as compared to the no challenge dunking that most of them are now).

Thats the problem. Top players dont want to earn it. And the bigger names are in bungie’s ear. The recent removal of sbmm proves this. It wont change until people walk away. Addicts rarely walk away though. Community should walk away from what it isnt happy with. Speak with its time and let it fail. Let all of pvp become a sweatfest with only the top 2% playing. Give them exactly what they want. Solstice is a perfect example. People hate the even, but -blam!- and do it. Next one will be the same. If they sat it out, things could change, but oh no, i may miss out on some glow, i get to buy again. Quit talking about trials Quit making heroes out of the top players Defund the top players. Quit playing modes you dont like This could lead to good changes. Instead of a game that benefits only the top%.

  • You have good points. I'd rather bungie listened to the player base and put in some common sense (who in their right mind came up with and justified a preying on the weak matchmaking mode anyways?). Of course, if history is any indicator at all they probably won't listen. I think you're probably right. Might just be time to drop this off.

Time has proven that bungie listens to 2 things. A tiny % of that top 1%. The people they bring to summits. And our play time and habits. If you are not in the special .02%, you only have one avenue to be heard. Time and $$$.
