Steam input must be disabled when using Xbox and PS4 Controllers. To connect a PS4 controller, you must connect it wired through USB or Bluetooth via the official PlayStation 4 DualShock USB Adapter. To use the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, Steam input must be enabled. Although you may need to adjust the dead zone as it is extremely sensitive. One or two clicks to the right on both sticks should be fine.

  • With the switch controller the only way to make it work is to enable steam input as you say but then load a keymap that translate the input to keyboard and mouse input so it is just unplayable. With the Xbox1 and Xbox 360 controllers the game work OK but if the game is not compatible with almost any other controller I feel that the "full controller support" label that is on the game and on steam is a little lie. Also make a controller that is in the official steam support controller list work as other non related controller (so you can loose functions on other game as the configuration is system wide) does not seem a good option. I just want to know if there is a compatibility list or anything to check this controller support. Thanks for the replys!!

  • Nope. You just need to select the gamepad template and it works.
