The numbers arent that great for them to shut down and configure. They would make even more people upset, so in their eyes what's the greater risk. If the numbers were higher of those getting the watercress or even big name streamers then they would have to find a answer to appease. But it's not so I gamble and say there wont be a fix till the end of the season or next dlc. At which point I'll be long gone.

Idk why they can't just take down the servers for one day to fix these issues and players won't miss much for 1 day u will easily catch up but it's not a major issue so they aren't bothered.
The numbers arent that great for them to shut down and configure.
Where do you find these numbers? Are you just taking Bungies word that it is a small amount of people? -
I'm not taking bungie's word for anything period. I did however answer in the context of their rationale out of anger yesterday. You pay for something and they dont take the time make sure they have a product all can enjoy it just makes you mad. And we should have seen this coming.

Are you just taking Bungies word that it is a small amount of people?
Even if they're small, my D2 clan and friends are righteously p**sed about watercress, they're also being denied something, namely those players who they'd normally play Destiny 2 with, but can't because they're blocked by this issue. So the impact of a person experiencing the issue isn't limited to that person. Thats what happens when you provide a multiplayer game, if it was single player there's no collateral damage to naively assuming it's only affecting people who receive the error, but you'd be an idiot to assume an error affecting one person isnt also reducing the enjoyment of the social circle that player has in game for multiplayer.

Just wanted to say, it's been a pleasure. Give your Lady my love. Think my time on these forums is coming to an end.

It has been quite enjoyable with you around, Bryan. I will continue to look for your name for quite a while. I can't say that for many people around here. :) I've said plenty of times over the years that I'm sticking this out whether it's a success or an absolute train wreck. Hopefully I'll see this thing get back the rails before it's all over but I'll keep a candle in the window if you decide to come back for some fun later. -
Gonna be a bit tough to come back after deleting my Lock from D1 Beta, but you never know my friend, you never know!

I fully understand that. I could delete any of the characters on my accounts except for the original Hunter on my old 'main' account. My Lock on this one would be a bit tough, but I'm not sure I could get rid of the first character I ever created. That one character is honestly the only reason I keep the old account around. -
Since it's clear we haven't crossed the threshold of a high enough number to care, we have to believe them when they tell us it's "only a small number of Xbox players." The only reason for them to even tell us that is to explain why it's lower on their list than fixing the difficulty scaling on the Whisper and Outbreak missions, or class item ornaments from Faction Rallies, or emblem tracking, or the Aeon Safe trigger text, or... you get the picture.

They should go let's fix this newt/watercress first so it doesn't loose players interest in the game but they clearly aren't bothered about losing players.

All the others issues aren't a major problem but idk who decides to fix what it what order is intelligent that they don't understand that this issue is way more important that them.Idk about the other stuff it's old content but they will fix it anyway.
