Everybody’s (or at least most) class tracker emblem that says how many of each class you’ve defeated has hunters ahead of the other 2 by a large margin. Hunters aren’t “broken” in my opinion, but they do have a certain appeal to them that makes them the most played class. Mobility, aesthetics, neutral game, supers. The dodge itself provides a large benefit (breaks aim assist and even lessens damage taken if you’re using bottom tree arc-strider). Factor in the battery mods that have become a thing over the past few seasons, wormhusk, the best vertical game, one-hit throwing knives that bend towards targets, etc., and it becomes a frustrating experience. The other classes have annoying aspects to them as well, they’re not innocent either. But I can understand why hunters have such a large appeal to them.
