Hi Thanks for getting back to me. I bought my son the Shadowkeep complete upgrade in the Black Friday sale ahead of his birthday which was yesterday. When he tried to access it, there’s nothing there. It seems like upgrade process has changed and we’ve been caught out. Can Bungie help?
-
What was the exact name of what you bought, and what seems to not be there? Are there specific activities/locations that can't be accessed?
-
Hi, it was Shadowkeep with all Season passes. None of which appears accessible to him. I appear to have it, but I no longer play Destiny.
-
Was just going to ask the same thing as ZacTheRuler - what account did you use to buy it, yours or his? The season passes are not shareable, and are permanently tied to the purchasing account. If you bought it using your account with the intention of family sharing it to your son, he should be able to access Shadowkeep, but he will not have access to the season passes, as those would be tied to your own account.
-
Hi, it’s clear ( if really disappointing) that season pass isn’t transferring due the unticked box for season pass on his Destiny home screen. Shadowkeep functionality isn’t so obvious. He thinks it isn’t enabled, but could be wrong? Is it possible to close my account and transfer purchase to his?
-
Bungie can't do any kind a transferring between accounts. You could try PlayStation support to see if they can help. As for Shadowkeep, he should be able to go to the Moon to do a mission called "A Mysterious Disturbance." That introductory mission should be open to everyone, but if he can continue to do missions from Eris Morn, that would indicate that he has access to Shadowkeep.

Thanks for the explanation on Shadowkeep- we’ll try that out ASAP. Will also go back to PSN on the season Pass side. Very much appreciate the community support even if buying experience itself has been so problematic for us.

You're welcome.
-
Was it purchased on his account or on a parental account that would transfer to his?
-
Hi, it was the latter, it’s the way we usually buy content.
-
That would be the problem. Season passes are now considered in game silver purchases so they can’t be transferred through accounts. The only fix to this is to buy the season pass on his account.
