you don't know the programs you have running? do you know how to open task manager? if so, do that and just list all the applications you have open when you are playing on your pc.

ok nothing jumps out but i don't see d2 on the list. do you run any 'cheat' programs (even for other games) or 'macros' that repeat keystrokes/clicks at all? also, being 'lenovo', is this a laptop? oh, and exactly what message do you get when trying to play? is it 'not so fast'?
-
Yeah, Not so fast or something like it. No i did not use cheats for any games because i dont play much games, only Destiny 2, Overwatch and LoL. And yes, its a Laptop, why?

This is why we shouldn’t be asking people to post all their running applications. This is just too much.... However, one thing that jumped out at me was that you had a memory compression application. That most likely got you banned if it touched Destiny 2. To be frank, those applications are gimmicks, at best and at worst, malware.
-
that particular memory compression feature is actually built into windows 10. i doubt they would ban for that. but, i suppose it's possible and if so, that's something they should definitely look into as many may not even know their new machine is running it...
-
If it’s a Windows service, then no, that won’t cause a ban.
-
Which one? I got a message of ban but didnt say much. Just suspended... No reason, no Email, no further explanation. And i dont even hacked or did anything to Destiny.
-
That’s exactly my point. I’m not going to flip through that entire list. You have your PC in front of you. You should know what application I’m talking about. As per Bungie’s ban policy, they have no obligation to contact you and inform you of the reasoning of your ban. This would only give indications of how their system works so people could avoid getting caught. They have never contacted people by email either. I don’t know where you got that information from, but that’s just flat out wrong. Also, your game history suggests that the last game you played was back in October. So my guess is you got nailed by the banhammer when they dropped it shortly after Shadowkeep launch. So you were running a cheat engine for another game at the time you launched Destiny 2.
-
I was not running a Cheat for any game, bc i dont play another games or something. Yeah i have my Laptop in front of me and i cant see why im "banned". I got dc in like 2 or 3 matchmade games and then boom, ban.
-
Do you use any kind of software for school/work that might inject/modify code? Any kind of debugger or software development tools will also get you a ban. It's not just cheats.
-
I dont know what that means at all. I just use sofwares to renderize bc im an architect. Nothing more, nothing less. The only 3 things i have running besides Steam are SuperF4(A Program to kill any task instantly), Nexus (A Bar with direct access to my most used sofwares) And MSI Afterburner because i need to overclock my GPU to renderize.
-
I just use sofwares to renderize bc im an architect.
It probably has something to do with this. If any of your architecture programs modify code in any way, it may be attempting to dig into Destiny if you didn't fully shut it down before playing. MSI Afterburner - most likely not. Pretty sure I've seen others mention they run that with no issues. Nexus - as in Nexus mods? Couldn't find anything on this one. If it's from the mods website, this could be an issue. Super F4 - another possible. I'm not a big PC guy, but it sounds like that could possibly be a culprit due to the way the program works(take this with a grain of salt, as I said, not a PC guy).
-
Then it was whatever that memory compression application was. It’s not needed. Full disclosure, the ban is manually applied after review by the Bungie Security staff. As I already covered, the policy is that they are not obligated to inform you as to why you were banned. You should know why. If you don’t, that’s even more concerning for you.
-
Also, Memory Compression is innate in Windows 10- " Windows 10 uses memory compression to store more data in your system’s memory than it otherwise could. If you visit the Task Manager and look at your memory usage details, you’ll likely see that some of your memory is “compressed”. Here’s what that means. "
-
Already covered that. I’m not sure what you are expecting, but a ban is a ban. Period. You ran something you shouldn’t have been running in the first place.
-
Why are you so hater? I came here for help. I didnt ran "something that i shouldnt run". And if i did it was not on purpose, because i dont use anything that can "modify" the gameplay. I just use my laptop for working purposes and i just play 1 or 2 games besides destiny 2. Geez, you are like a little kid, stop licking Bungie's balls and try to help another player. And if you cant help just keep doing what you were doing and ignore this thread.
-
there was no hate in his post. just simple facts as painful as they may be. a ban is a ban. it will not be reversed. each incident is investigated before a ban is placed. while we may not be able to identify from your list what caused it, it doesn't mean that something wasn't un-installed after the fact. one way or the other, your account broke the rules that led to your ban. it could have been software or it could have been something in-game like being in a pvp match on the same team as someone else who was hacking.
-
I know a ban is a ban, i wasnt expecting to be unbanned i just asked if there is a way to know if i am permabanned or something, because i dont have the game installed and i dont want to download 80GB to see the ban message in there.
-
you don't have the game installed? you already un-installed it? just saying that is a bit odd and just to be clear, if the message you got was 'not so fast', it is permanent.
