I know people are going to look at this and say it's fine but...you can see the blade barrage take out half it's health in an instant, from a safe distance.
But a thundercrash only took out maybe a quarter of it's health and he got killed by quake.
The potential recharge speed doesn't make this ok because we have plenty of supers that have exotics that can generate them super faster and with our current orb model, spamming supers has been so easy.
Even with the nerf to super energy, perks like ashes to assets, hands on, etc are still going to help us get our supers faster and so will orbs but yet...they only take account of this for thundercrash and leave it's damage garbage?
Nobodies ever going to use it with an example like that floating around.
