We like them. We often play with them.
-
I’m well aware of the unfortunate habit of orcas to play with their food. It’s usually rather violent
-
Tossing seals 80 feet up in the air isn't violent. It's great fun for everyone. But this in the video is just cruel.
-
It’s pretty violent when they smash into the water as if it were a brick wall
-
They have a thicc fat layer under their skin.

-
Whoa hoomin what are you talking? We're having fun. Don't try to ruin the millions of years old friendship between orcas and seals.
-
Edited by Epicperon: 7/13/2019 11:21:05 PMThat’s just millions of years of you eating them
-
Yes but in return we kill leopard seals and polar bears that hunt them.
-
That’s not really helping them at all. In the end all three of those things are still just your food
-
Still it helps them since we decrease the numbers of their enemies.
-
I order to truly reduce the amount of their predators you’d have to resort to cannibalism, as orcas are one of their top predators as well
-
That's against our nature. They agreed to that deal and a great friendship was forged.
-

-
We'll never know.
