The only way we are going to survive this is through a grey, Ul-Tan style, we need both the light and the understanding of the dark

1 ReplyVanguard. Why? Because our responsibility is to the people of the City first. Second to that is to combat the Darkness, and I don’t buy all this “we need darkness to defeat darkness” crap. You can’t fight fire with Fire. You fight it with water. May I also remind you that since we were resurrected by the traveler we pretty much owe our lives to him/her/it. The drifter is trying to distract us. Plus, he seems pretty fine with killing guardians. I also have a strong suspicion he helped with the murder of Cayde-6, who might I remind you was the Hunter Vanguard. (Side note if Uldren is unfit then I nominate Shiro-4 for Hunter Vanguard)
another thing I will not tolerate is the notion that Shin is with the drifter because he’s a shadow of Yor. I don’t even think he IS a shadow
The vanguard is crumbling and Vuvuzela annoys me. I’m siding with the drifter. Maybe the boundary between light and dark in a moral sense isn’t absolute, but mutable. We should learn how to use our enemies’ power against themselves.
-
The Drifter. For sure. The Vanguard is antiquated and does not have the power or the ability to truly fight against the Darkness. It’s time to fight fire with Fire.
-
Drifter. Why? I want to learn how to throw those darkness bolts that are OP .
-
Drifter. Time to see what the dark can do.

I’m with Drifter, long live Dredgen

Both.

Vanguard, I have not liked or trusted Drifter since day 1. Will be happy to undermine that snake and those Dredgen edgelords for the good of the City.
