You are guilty of murder, I sentence you to life imprisonment, do you have anything to say?
Can I see the evidence against me, supply me with proof please?
No, no you can’t, what a stupid thing to say.
This is not murder, this is a company stopping a paying customer from using their product, someone who could have easily spent hundreds of dollars on said product.
At the very least they could inform the person by email with time, date and reason and a way for you to state your case.

"This is not murder, this is a company stopping a paying customer from using their product, someone who could have easily spent hundreds of dollars on said product." Exactly why they don't ban without a very good reason. Is it better to ban a single customer or allow that customers to ruin the exerience of several others who paid 100s of dollars and/or will do so in the future?
-
I’m not disputing the ban, I’m simply saying it’s only fair to show your evidence for the ban, giving the customer a chance to defend or explain the situation. Mistakes are made especially in an industry where bugs and false readings are rampant. How would you feel if it was you but you were adamant you had done nothing wrong or at the very least didn’t realise you were doing something wrong??
-
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This.
-
Well I’m not guilty though. What else am I supposed to do? I have to try something. I got a lot of advice and people are saying maybe if I get enough attention someone will see and maybe they can help. I just need help. Thanks for the insight though!

You can kill a person and get 25 years after your actions are proven out with evidence. Apparently, Bungie takes things more seriously. Lifetime bans. No recourse. No appeal. Not even an explanation of what you've done. It's unacceptable.
-
Lol and do you know why there is no appeal or anything like that??
-
Because they care more about money than customer service? Because they aren't willing to spend the resources necessary to dig into every error so they just cut their losses? Because they can depend on the community at large to be troll-ish and silence anyone who claims innocence?
-
Could of just said no.
-
Do you know why?
-
Because it would be a waste of time with the same outcome. Bungie has the evidence, due to them investigating the profile before taking action. They will only put a full on ban if they saw something in their investigation to warrant it. I guess telling people why wouldn’t be a problem, but it would still mean the player is banned in the end.
-
Geez, I didn't realize Bungie was so infallible. They should make driverless cars.
-
Lol yea and let them take over the eugenics projects while they are at it. They can always lead by example and take the first vaccine.
