When you think "triumph" you think something [u]achieved[/u] by hard work and alot of effort. When you think "RnG" you think [u]received[/u] by a luck factor. SO the idea of putting a requirement on a Triumph that is a RNG based item that is also timegated so you cannot work hard to get it.... well lets say there is neither logic nor common sense in it. So all we can do is look for alternative reasons to do something like that. First i thought it was to create a hype and addiction effect on said item. But mayority will just get frustrated and annoyed, acomplishing the opposite. People don't complain a lot these days, they simply move on, so that would be a bad gaming-development strategy. Than i thought it might be to slow down progress. That makes most sense to me, make them waste time so they stay hooked on the game, chasing that elusive item. You see that coming back alot in destiny2. Loading times to the tower are horrible, yet every quest makes you go there after completing a step or 2, some even after every step. Recuiring trajectory medals for mountain top? doesn't count the ones you already had, doesn't count in Iron Banner... delay tactics. Chasing some competitive PvP quest, lets go back to orbit every time instead of Crucible match selection screen. Creating an economy to infuse armore and weapons... to make it meaningfull? no, it's to make you waste time. Make players waste time with deleting 380 gear, blue gear, double exotics, shaders, going back and forth to the tower for bounties, etc etc. all to make you waste time. These may seem minor, till you add the time spent on deleting them.. then it's hours, days, years. Most of it is simple to fix if they wanted to spare you time and frustration.

  • It will be interesting to see if the game shifts now that Activision is gone. I don't believe Activision should get as much of the blame as this community wants to give them, but I do feel like [u]time spent in game[/u] was something Bungie thought would appease them. There is no logical reason why Bungie should think total time spent in the game equals anything if all it's accomplishing is making people mad. People will just stop playing. I would love to keep forging frames but I am not flying back and forth to Ada to pick it up, do a random bunch of things, fly back to her and then to a forge. The player numbers are obviously declining again because this model doesn't work long term. I really wish we could get an honest answer as to what their thinking is behind all these loading screens? Loading screens are currently what is killing Anthem too right now.

  • That is something i cannot agree with, they do listen. Some changes have been made due to the community complaining. It's just that they don't seem to hurry about it. It's at next patch or at next expansion...

    It's kind of sad I get no sense of urgency from Bungie to patch sometimes blatant exploits and bugs. It's sad they made the one-eyed mask after nerfing the Wormhusk Crown, for being over powered. They actually added an overshield perk and extra damage perk to a healing perk. Wormhusk had only healing... which stopped when you were hit. So nobody at Bungie thought "hey haven't we just nerfed a similar item, maybe we should not launch this item as it is designed right now....." [i][b]It's not like they made the same mistake, they made an even bigger mistake with the knowledge it's going to Over Powered.[/b][/i]

  • Yeah. I don't get why they keep doing that. Arcstrider OP? Here's Nova Warp and Spectral Blades knowing that when we have to nerf these things people are going to get upset and then we are going to have to create some other type of abomination to satisfy enough people that it offsets the ones who are mad. Whether its true or not, sometimes it feels like 90% of the effort is going towards D3 and their new 100 trillion dollar Netease IP. PvP feels pretty much abandoned. It really could have been much more engaging and rewarding. And PvE has RNG in it for triumphs? Who could have possibly thought that was not going to make people want to quit after their 40th or whatever raid clear and they still don't get what they want.

  • Deliberately shallow extending the game. My biggest issues are why we have to go back ada every single stinking time. Why rng is attached to triumphs. Make it so stuff is more likely to drop. Remove the NF rng for yr 1 we need to get for the triumph. Allow the sparrow, thousand yard to drop more often upon completion. These rng based titles are simply put a joke.

  • Still need a Warmind sniper... yet with forsaken and Forge launched i completely forgot to even farm it since it's not a good sniper IMO and i don't like snipers to begin with. So now i have to farm stems, to open nodes (of which i opened alot, yet sadly did not know about the timegate 1 scematic per day limitation) in hopes i get a RNG scematic drop so I get a RNG chance on the weapon i'm missing. Why is it not simply a drop from chests/Vendor level up by now? Don't know the % for getting a scematic from a node, but that % is lowered by 80% because of the 4 other weapons you can drop from them that i don't need. That kind of reduced my chances to a joke... just because i might want a title.

  • I feel tour pain. It doesnt make sense why yhe weapons from last season are still locked behind a stupid amount of rng.
