Haven't been able to ever play the game due to Buffalo error

I originally got the game back in November and couldn't get past the Buffalo error. I tried all the troubleshooting steps (including disabling IPv6, changing region, and having Battle.net scan Destiny 2 for errors), but I couldn't get it resolved. I saw several other players report the Buffalo error code around the same time and so I figured it was a temporary problem. This was back in early November. I tried it now and still got the same error. I repeated all of the troubleshooting steps. I'd like to know what the next best course of action is for me.

 • Still getting the Buffalo error. Please advise on what the next step of support is.

 • After some research, I found this link: https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTechSupport/comments/8k0pkh/pc_anybody_got_any_ideas_on_how_to_fix_this/. It describes someone in my situation (who has never been able to play the game due to this error). They had success uninstalling both the Battle.net and Destiny 2 game, removing the following directories below, and reinstalling the game. The directories are: %PROGRAMDATA%\Battle.net %APPDATA%\Battle.net %LOCALAPPDATA%\Battle.net %APPDATA%\Bungie\DestinyPC I did this, and I'm still getting the Buffalo error. Please let me know where to go from here.

 • Last night, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game overnight. I am still getting the Buffalo error.
